A MESSAGE FROM THE PHANTOM:

It’s been a phenomenal year in the Phantom universe, so I’ve decided to give back by throwing a Ghoulish Rock ’N’ Roll charity fundraiser!

I’ve been playing Ghoulish Rock ’N’ Roll since 2012, and 2026 is the first year I really feel like I’ve built a career and a community around this music. It wasn't long ago that I was playing empty rooms, sometimes without even a stage, wondering if anybody would ever care. Now I can roll into a small town or a big city and find a room full of Ghoulfriends ready to rock. I’m incredibly grateful.

So I figured the responsible thing to do is use this operation to help some other people. All money from the show will be split between Children’s Hospital, City Team, and the East Oakland Collective — organizations helping children, vulnerable people, and those in need.

I’m also extra excited to do a set of Bo Diddley songs! Bo is one of my biggest influences and it’s been awesome learning his style because he truly didn’t play guitar like anyone else. Open tunings, songs built around a single chord, and unmistakable rhythms. His music has been covered countless times, but the subtleties are often missing.

Come out to historic Toots Tavern, going strong since 1901, and let’s celebrate Halloween, rock ’n’ roll, ghoulishness, and doing a little good while we’re at it. Costumes encouraged. Dancing encouraged. Helping people encouraged. We can make the world a little less of a dumpster fire.

WE WILL GO WHERE THE PARTY TAKES US!  👻🤘
